Salesforce highlights how humans and AI agents can work together to power the Agentic Enterprise

Dreamforce 2026, held in San Francisco from September 15 to 17, brought together humans and AI agents together to inspire every company to become an Agentic Enterprise — moving from AI that simply assists people to AI that can take action and get real work done. The event highlights  Salesforce’s vision of the Agentic Enterprise where AI agents work alongside people to transform customer experiences, empower employees and drive business growth.

On the sidelines of Dreamforce, Arundhati Bhattacharya, President and CEO, Salesforce South Asia, said, “Dreamforce offers a glimpse of where enterprise technology is headed—and for India, this is a defining moment. Indian businesses are moving decisively from AI experimentation to embedding AI agents in how they serve customers, empower employees and drive growth. The announcements reflect a fundamental shift, with AI becoming part of how work gets done across enterprise systems and workflows. The next chapter of AI will be defined by how effectively intelligence translates into trusted business outcomes—and India can move from being a participant in this revolution to an architect of it.”

Key announcements from Dreamforce 2026:

  • Salesforce unveils AIforce: Salesforce introduced AIforce, a new interface layer designed to bring Salesforce’s data, workflows, business logic, permissions, security and governance into the AI interfaces where employees already work. AIforce launches with Claudeforce, Slackforce and Agentforce Coworker, enabling users and agents to access Salesforce capabilities through interfaces including Claude and Slack.
  • Salesforce and Anthropic launch Claudeforce: Salesforce and Anthropic introduced Claudeforce, bringing Claude’s reasoning together with Salesforce’s trusted data, workflows, actions and governance. Claudeforce enables users to access Salesforce capabilities directly within Claude, with 37 prebuilt sales skills available from launch.
  • Salesforce and NVIDIA introduce Koa: Salesforce and NVIDIA announced Koa, Salesforce’s first CRM reasoning model for Agentforce, built on NVIDIA Nemotron. Koa is designed to reason through complex, multi-step enterprise workflows and is trained on synthetic scenarios modelled on nearly three decades of CRM expertise. Salesforce says Koa matches or exceeds leading model performance on CRM actions with three times fewer errors in its CRM Benchmark.
  • Salesforce and Google Cloud expand strategic partnership: New integrations bring Salesforce business context into Amazon Quick, AWS agents into Slack and broader model choice to Agentforce through Amazon Bedrock, alongside expanded zero-copy data access and Agentforce Voice interoperability with Amazon Connect Customer.

Why this matters for India

The announcements reinforce Salesforce’s broader view that the next phase of enterprise AI will be about moving from AI that assists employees to AI that can reason, take action, and execute work within trusted business environments. For India, Salesforce is positioning its large technology workforce, Trailblazer ecosystem, digital infrastructure, and growing adoption of Agentforce as important foundations for this shift.
