Vivo Y03 Unveiled: MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 5,000mAh Battery, Price, Specifications Revealed
New Delhi: Vivo Y03 made its debut in Indonesia on Tuesday, March 12, as the successor to the Vivo Y02, which was unveiled in India in December 2022. The new smartphone brings several enhancements, though the company has not confirmed its launch in India yet. The Vivo Y03 is available in two RAM and storage options, and it comes in two different color variants. It features a dual rear camera setup and supports wired Flash Charging for quick charging capabilities.

The Vivo Y03 is available in Gem Green and Space Black color options. The base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at IDR 1,299,000 (approximately Rs. 6,900), while the higher configuration with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is listed at IDR 1,499,000 (approximately Rs. 8,000). The smartphone is currently available for purchase in Indonesia through the official Vivo e-store.

The Vivo Y03 features a 6.56-inch LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 1,612 x 720 pixels and a pixel density of 269ppi. It supports a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, coupled with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The phone offers virtually expandable RAM of up to 4GB. It comes with 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The device runs on FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo Y03 features a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a QVGA camera at the back, accompanied by an LED flash. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera housed within a waterdrop notch at the top of the display.
The Vivo Y03 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, similar to its predecessor, and supports 15W wired charging through a USB Type-C port. It offers connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS. The phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It includes a 3.5mm audio jack and has an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. The handset weighs 185g and has dimensions of 163.78mm x 75.73mm x 8.39mm.
