○ AI adoption leads to gain. In India, 91% of employees saved 4.9 hours weekly through automation.
In a report released on July 20, 2023, Slack shared insights from their State of Work study, highlighting Indian organizations’ drive to boost employee productivity. The survey of 2000 desk workers revealed that AI and automation can simplify repetitive tasks, freeing up time for more strategic work. This is part of a larger global survey by Slack involving 18,000 workers across nine countries.
The report reveals three key trends shaping contemporary work and enhancing employee productivity:
1. AI and automation adoption are reshaping organizations, elevating productivity.
2. Hybrid work is redefining office dynamics and design.
3. Productivity is influenced by employee engagement and skill growth.
Research methodology:
In collaboration with Qualtrics, Slack conducted a worldwide survey from February 24 to March 21, 2023. The study encompassed 18,149 executives and desk workers in various sectors across these countries: United States (3,115), Australia (2,034), France (2,039), Germany (2,032), United Kingdom (2,027), India (2,039), Singapore (1,341), Japan (1,658), and South Korea (1,864).
