Taapsee Pannu’s Birthday Month Gets Cinematic with 2 Big Releases

New Delhi: Taapsee Pannu is brimming with excitement as she gears up to captivate audiences with her upcoming projects, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba and Khel Khel Mein. The trailers and song releases have already set the stage for what promises to be an enthralling cinematic experience. Recently, the makers unveiled the trailer of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, and a new song, ‘Hauli Hauli’, from Khel Khel Mein, has already started gaining traction.

Reflecting on the overwhelming reception, Taapsee shared, “It’s been an overwhelming start to both my films with such warm reception to ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’s’ trailer and the first song drop of ‘Khel Khel Mein’. Both films are so diverse not just in their genre but also in how my character is. It’s just coincidental that they both are releasing soon after my birthday, so I’m hoping this shall be that big party of entertainment from my side to my audience for the month of August. And I’m praying to receive the gift of love from them.”

The trailer of ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ dives deep into the lives of Rani (played by Taapsee) and Rishu (Vikrant Massey) as they attempt to move on from their tumultuous past. New challenges and characters, like Abhimanyu (Sunny Kaushal), add intriguing twists to their journey. Officer Mritunjay, also known as Montu Chacha and portrayed by Jimmy Shergill, escalates the tension as a new ace officer with a personal vendetta. His mission to uncover Rani and Rishu’s web of deceit promises a gripping narrative filled with suspense and drama. The pair resorts to their old, twisted tactics to stay together, navigating a world where danger lurks at every corner. Directed by Jayprad Desai, written and co-produced by Kanika Dhillon, and produced by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Films, the Netflix film will release on August 9.

On the other hand, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ is directed by Mudassar Aziz and is set for release on Independence Day. The film’s song, ‘Hauli Hauli’, has already started creating a buzz with its catchy hook step. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha, and Ajay Rai, the film aims to redefine the comedy-drama genre. According to the producers, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ offers a rollercoaster ride of emotions that transcends the ordinary, promising to leave audiences in splits and craving for more.

As Taapsee Pannu celebrates her birthday month, fans can look forward to a double treat of entertainment. With both films showcasing her versatility and talent, August is set to be a cinematic delight.
