Sana Makbul Wins Bigg Boss OTT 3, Outshines Ranvir Shorey and Naezy
New Delhi: The third season of Bigg Boss OTT concluded with a glittering finale, crowning Sana Makbul as the winner. The grand finale, aired on August 2 on Jio Cinema, was a night filled with drama, action, and suspense. Anil Kapoor, who hosted this season, announced the winner amidst much excitement and celebration.
Sana Makbul’s journey in the Bigg Boss house was marked by ups and downs. She faced criticism, being called “naagin” and “villain” by fellow contestant Ranvir Shorey, and was frequently questioned by Anil Kapoor during the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. Despite these challenges, Sana stood firm with her opinions and showcased resilience throughout the competition. Anil Kapoor noted her enthusiasm to win, sometimes dubbing it as an obsession. Her friendships with other contestants, including Vishal Pandey, Naezy, and Lovekesh, were also topics of discussion.
The finale featured five finalists: Ranvir Shorey, Sana Makbul, Sai Ketan Rao, Naezy, and Kritika Malik. However, Ranvir, Sai, and Kritika were eliminated midway, with Kritika being the first to exit. The event was marked by nostalgic moments, music, and dance, including a performance by Anil Kapoor and former contestants to “Naach Punjaban.”
The finale also included surprise appearances by Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, promoting their upcoming film Stree 2. Anil Kapoor reflected on his experience as a host, expressing how the show brought out various emotions in him. Bigg Boss OTT 3 premiered on June 21, featuring a diverse group of contestants and marked Kapoor’s debut as a reality show host, stepping in for Salman Khan.
