Users will have the flexibility to end the voice conversation at any time. They will also receive a privacy indicator on iOS devices, which notifies them when Meta AI’s microphone is active, ensuring transparency and control over their interactions.
In addition to real-time voice conversations, WhatsApp is working on features that will allow users to manage Meta AI’s voice settings. This includes enabling captions and transcripts that convert speech to text during voice interactions. Users will also have the option to choose between two voice output modes: Brief and Full. The Brief mode will provide concise, to-the-point responses, while the Full mode will generate detailed and comprehensive answers for more complex queries.
