New Delhi: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar emphasized the significance of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, declaring it a symbol of the nation’s unwavering commitment to achieving a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Speaking at an event before flagging off a ‘Tiranga Bike Rally’ from Bharat Mandapam, Dhankhar stated that the campaign not only reflects the country’s dedication to progress but also serves as a testament to the belief that this century belongs to India.

The Vice President’s remarks came as part of the third edition of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, which is being observed from August 9 to 15 in the lead-up to the 78th Independence Day. Union ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Kiren Rijiju, and Mansukh Mandaviya were also present at the event, underscoring the importance of the occasion.

The ‘Tiranga Bike Rally,’ which began at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, took participants on a symbolic journey through iconic landmarks, concluding at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium after passing through India Gate. The rally was a vivid demonstration of national pride and unity, as participants waved the Tricolor while riding through the heart of the capital.

Launched in 2022 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has since evolved into a people’s movement. Shekhawat noted that the campaign has successfully instilled a sense of patriotism across the nation, with citizens from all walks of life participating enthusiastically in displaying the national flag at their homes. This collective effort signifies a united push towards the realization of a prosperous and developed India.
