Exciting : MG Windsor’s Grand India Debut Set for September 11

New Delhi: MG Motor India is set to launch its newest EV, the MG Windsor, on September 11. Known as the Cloud EV in other markets like Indonesia, the Indian version comes with a new name.
MG Windsor EV Price and Competition
The Windsor EV will be priced under ₹20 lakh, slotting below the ZS EV in MG’s lineup. It will compete with rivals like the Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV400, and Tata Curvv EV.

MG Windsor EV Battery and Range
Internationally, the Windsor EV (Wuling Cloud EV) offers two battery options: a 37.9kWh pack with a 360km range, and a 50.6kWh pack with a 460km range. It’s powered by a 134hp front-axle-mounted motor. The specific battery option for India has yet to be confirmed.
MG Windsor EV Design and Features
The Windsor EV combines the attributes of a large hatchback and an MPV, measuring around 4.3 metres in length with a 2,700mm wheelbase. It will feature a 5-seat configuration, a large floating touchscreen, rear AC vents, a reclining rear seat, and faux leather upholstery.
The Windsor aims to provide a spacious and comfortable electric driving experience, appealing to those looking for a premium yet affordable EV option.
