Jeep Meridian X Prices Unveiled: Special Edition SUV Pricing Revealed
New Delhi: Jeep has launched the special edition Meridian X, available as a Rs 50,000 upgrade kit for all variants of the SUV, including Limited, Limited (O), and Overland. This edition features styling updates and additional equipment enhancements.
Jeep Meridian X: what’s new?
The Meridian X special edition features a grey roof and alloy wheels with grey accents. It offers additional equipment over the standard Meridian, including side moulding, puddle lamps, programmable ambient lighting, sunshades, an air purifier, premium carpet mats, an optional rear-seat entertainment package, and a dashcam. The entry-level Limited variant, available only in manual 4×2 form, is priced at Rs 29.49 lakh, making the starting price for the Meridian X range Rs 29.99 lakh, and extending up to Rs 40.33 lakh.
Jeep Meridian X: powertrain
The Meridian X is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine producing 170hp and 350Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional 9-speed torque converter automatic, depending on the variant.
Jeep Meridian facelift also in the works
The Jeep Meridian is scheduled to undergo a mid-life update later this year, as indicated by recent sightings during testing. The updated SUV is expected to feature subtle styling tweaks, including revised bumpers and a refreshed grille. However, the most significant addition will be the introduction of an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite. Upon its release, the updated Meridian will continue to compete with vehicles such as the Skoda Kodiaq, MG Gloster, and Toyota Fortuner in its segment.
