The 2024 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600

The Maybach GLS receives exterior updates similar to the facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLS, including a new grille and bumper with Maybach-specific details. The taillights have also been updated to match the regular GLS. Inside, the steering wheel and center console have been revised.

The GLS 600 comes standard with a rear bench seat with recline settings and extendable leg rests. However, the optional First-Class rear compartment replaces this with two individual seats offering full electric adjustability, heating/cooling, and massage functions, separated by a continuous center console.

Powering the GLS 600 is an updated 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 petrol engine with a mild hybrid setup. It produces 557 horsepower and 730 Newton-meters of torque, with an additional 22 horsepower and 250 Newton-meters of torque from the integrated starter generator. Mercedes-Benz claims a 0-100 km/h time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. The 2024 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 starts at Rs 3.35 crore (ex-showroom) in India.

The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance

The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance combines the luxury of the S-Class sedan with incredible performance. It is powered by a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 petrol hybrid powertrain that produces a combined output of 802 horsepower and 1,430 Newton-meters of torque! Mated to a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, the AMG S 63 goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reaches a limited top speed of 250 km/h.

The AMG S 63 E Performance is a plug-in hybrid with a 13.1kWh battery pack and a claimed electric-only range of 33 kilometers (WLTP). It comes standard with adaptive damping and rear-axle steering.

The exterior and interior of the AMG S 63 E Performance receive the AMG treatment with revisions to match the sedan’s high-performance nature. Customers can choose from a variety of exterior and interior customization options. The Edition 1 adds exclusive details such as alpine grey paintwork, 21-inch AMG forged wheels, and seat covers with AMG nappa leather and contrasting red top stitching.

The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance starts at Rs 3.3 crore (ex-showroom), while the Edition 1 starts at Rs 3.8 crore (ex-showroom).
