Motorola Launches Razr 60 Series: New Foldables Bring AI Smarts, Sleek Design, and Snapdragon Power

Motorola Unveils 2025 Razr Series with Three New Foldables, Bigger Batteries, and Titanium Hinge

Motorola has officially taken the wraps off its latest generation of foldable smartphones, introducing the Razr, Razr Plus, and the flagship Razr Ultra on Thursday, April 24. With this launch, the company expands its Razr lineup from two to three devices, offering more variety in the clamshell-style foldable segment.

The 2025 Razr series brings several key upgrades over the previous generation. A major improvement is the adoption of a titanium-reinforced hinge, designed to endure up to 35% more folds, offering enhanced durability across all three models. The phones also pack larger batteries, addressing a common concern from earlier versions. The standard Razr now houses a 4,500mAh battery, the Razr Plus offers 4,000mAh, while the top-end Razr Ultra features a massive 4,700mAh battery—marking a significant upgrade in daily usability.

Motorola has stayed true to its signature foldable design, but it’s the display technology that steals the show. The Razr 60 Ultra boasts a 7.0-inch pOLED internal display paired with a 4.0-inch external screen, offering a near tablet-like experience when unfolded. The Razr 60 features a 6.9-inch pOLED HDR10+ internal display and a 3.6-inch cover screen, maintaining a slim and functional form factor.

A standout feature of the new Razr models is the integration of Moto AI. This includes smarter voice interactions, enhanced camera capabilities, and intuitive gesture controls, designed to improve user experience across everyday tasks.

India is among the first markets to receive these new devices, with Motorola expected to announce local pricing and availability soon. In addition to the Razr foldables, Motorola also unveiled two new devices in its Edge series: the Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro, aiming to strengthen its presence in the premium smartphone segment.

Rounding out the announcement, Motorola introduced new accessories to expand its ecosystem. The Moto Buds Loop—open-ear wireless earbuds—and the Moto Watch Fit—a new fitness-focused wearable—are designed to complement the company’s hardware lineup with seamless integration and added functionality.

With bold design updates, improved endurance, and a deeper push into AI, the 2025 Razr series represents Motorola’s most ambitious foldable effort yet—offering users style, substance, and smarter tech in a sleek, modern package.
