Swedish EV Company to Make Electric 3-Wheelers in Pune, India !
New Delhi: Clean Motion, a Swedish electric vehicle (EV) company, is establishing a manufacturing facility in Pune, India. This facility will focus on producing their flagship product, the Zbee electric passenger three-wheeler.
Made in India, Exported Globally
The Zbee, manufactured in India, is also targeted for international markets. Clean Mobility Solution India plans to create a robust network of EV charging stations. These stations will be equipped for both plug-in charging and battery swapping, catering to fleets of 20-25 Zbee vehicles.
Investment Fuels Expansion
To support its Indian operations, Clean Motion has secured a $1 million investment from Finvolve, a joint venture between India Accelerator and Finolutions. Finvolve has committed to providing an additional $3-5 million over the next two years to further accelerate growth.
Focus on First-and-Last Mile Connectivity
Clean Mobility Solution India will prioritize first-and-last mile transportation services. This includes connecting key locations like metro stations, shopping malls, colleges, and office buildings.
Long-Range, Three-Seater Vehicle
The Zbee boasts an impressive range of nearly 80 kilometers on a single charge and can seat three people comfortably.
