Tata Altroz Racer Set to Launch with More Muscle and Style

New Delhi: Calling all performance enthusiasts! Tata Motors has teased the upcoming launch of the Altroz Racer, a sportier version of their popular hatchback. Here’s what you can expect:

• Punchier Engine: The Altroz Racer gets a significant power upgrade with a 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine borrowed from the Nexon. This puts it on par with the Hyundai i20 N Line.
  
• Striking Looks: Get ready for a head-turning dual-tone paint job with orange and black accents. Racing stripes on the hood and potential tweaks to the grille will add to the sporty appeal.
  
• Feature-Packed Interior: Expect a refresh inside the cabin with sporty touches on the dashboard and new upholstery. The Racer might also boast a segment-first ventilated front seat feature, along with a panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, and a 360-degree camera for enhanced comfort and convenience.
  
• Gearbox Options: The teaser suggests a 6-speed manual transmission, but there’s no confirmation on an automatic option yet.

Price and Competition: Expect the Altroz Racer to be priced slightly higher than the standard Altroz iTurbo, placing it directly in competition with the Hyundai i20 N Line (Rs 10 lakh – 12.52 lakh) and the Maruti Fronx (Rs 9.73 lakh – 12.86 lakh).
