Revealing the Divine: First Glimpse of Ram Lalla Idol in Ayodhya’s Sanctum Sanctorum

New Delhi: In an important ceremony ahead of the much-awaited ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ on January 22, the amazing 51-inch Ram Lalla idol made by a talented artisan from Mysore was respectfully placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple. In Ayodhya. The first glimpse of the much-awaited sacred idol was unveiled during the installation ceremony on Thursday, marking an important step toward the culmination of the consecration ritual.

Pictures capturing this divine moment were shared by Sharad Sharma, media in-charge of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Vedic Brahmins and eminent Acharyas led the puja ceremonies in the sacred premises of the temple, filling the atmosphere with spiritual resonance. Members of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra actively participated in the prayers, contributing to the sanctity of the occasion.

Priest Arun Dixit, who was an integral part of the consecration ceremony, said the installation of the idol was accompanied by the chanting of prayers, an important step in the spiritual journey. Acknowledging the collective effort behind this great endeavor, Dixit described the ‘Pradhan Sankalp’ created by Trust member Anil Mishra as a dedication to the well-being of all, the nation and humanity as a whole.

As the rituals began, devotional fervor intensified, with Brahmins receiving traditional clothing and dedicatory ceremonies. Meticulous preparations, rituals and prayers pave the way for the grand ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rich with historical significance, the consecration ceremony is not only a milestone for the devotees but also symbolizes the harmonious blend of spirituality and cultural heritage in the sacred complex of Ayodhya.
