Sachin Tendulkar hails historic day of Ram temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’: Inspiring the next generation.

New Delhi: Renowned Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has hailed the 22nd of January as a momentous day for India. Sachin Tendulkar expressed his belief that the inauguration of the Ram Mandir would serve as a source of inspiration for future generations of Indians.

“It was a very special experience for me, in fact this is a historic day. I want to say that the dream has been fulfilled for the entire Indian population. This is a proud moment for our culture and spiritual heritage. This will inspire the next generation. I am very happy that I was able to attend this and I would like to bring my family here,” Sachin said in an exclusive interview.

Tendulkar shared his pride in witnessing the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony, which symbolizes a significant cultural milestone for the nation. Accompanied by his wife, Tendulkar expressed his desire to bring the rest of his family when he visits the temple again. Notable attendees at the event included former Indian cricketers Anil Kumble, Ravindra Jadeja, and Venkatesh Prasad, while renowned personalities such as shuttler Saina Nehwal and former India cricket team captain Mithali Raj were also present.

Regarding the architectural details of the Ram Mandir, the temple has been meticulously designed in the traditional Nagara style by Chandrakant Sompura and his son Ashish. Impressive in scale, the temple measures 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width, and reaches a height of 161 feet. Encompassing a sprawling complex spanning 70 acres, the main temple area covers 2.7 acres with a total built-up area of approximately 57,000 square feet. The estimated value of the entire structure amounts to Rs 1,800 crore. The funding for this monumental project has been facilitated by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which has successfully pooled together donations amounting to over Rs 3,500 crore from both domestic and international contributors.
