Team India meets Narendra Modi after T20 World Cup 2024
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted and congratulated the ICC T20 World Cup winners at his residence in New Delhi today. Captain Rohit Sharma and the team reached Delhi with the trophy on 4 July after lifting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at Barbados on 29 June.
PM Modi took to social media, praising the gathering as “an excellent meeting with our Champions!” He engaged with the cricketing heroes in heartfelt exchanges, celebrating their remarkable path to victory. The Prime Minister complimented their dedication and sportsmanship, highlighting their inspiring performance on the global stage.
