Ola Mobility launches operations at Chennai Airport

Chennai: Ola Mobility, India’s largest ride-hailing platform, has launched services at Chennai International Airport (MAA) across all terminals. This expansion is part of the MOU between Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Ola cabs, extending Ola’s presence to 22 airports.

The Ola Zone at Chennai International Airport will streamline traveler pickups, with booking assistance for faster service. A cashless checkout system benefits both travelers and drivers, while drivers enjoy cost-free parking for enhanced efficiency.

Having commenced services in 2011, Ola has the largest ride-hailing network in India with operations in 200 cities and more than 1 million driver partners on the platform. Recently, Ola announced the launch of its e-Bike service in Delhi and Hyderabad, while the company will expand and increase deployment of e-Bikes in Bangalore following a massive pilot success. In line with the company’s vision and growth strategy of serving 1 Billion Indians and nationwide penetration with electrification. Ola recently announced that its India Mobility Business has turned EBITDA positive in FY 23, one of the few Indian internet companies to achieve this feat.
