CUET UG Result 2024: Commerce, Arts subjects have highest number of top scorers

New Delhi: The CUET UG Result 2024 has revealed that the highest number of top scorers come from the Commerce and Arts subjects. This indicates a strong performance in these fields among the candidates.

In the CUET UG 2024 results, the highest number of students who scored full marks (200) were in Business Studies (8,024), followed by Political Science (5,141), History (2,520), and English (1,683).

A majority of students who secured full marks in the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate (CUET UG 2024) appeared for Commerce and Arts subjects, according to data shared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The CUET UG 2024 results reveal that a significant number of top scorers are from Commerce and Arts subjects. The highest number of students scored full marks (200) in Business Studies (8,024), followed by Political Science (5,141), History (2,520), and English (1,683). In contrast, the number of top scorers in Science subjects is relatively low. The highest number of candidates who scored full marks in a Science subject is for the Biology/Biological Studies/Biotechnology/Biochemistry paper (835 candidates). For Chemistry, the number is 398, and for Physics, it is 114. There are 12 subjects in which 100 or more candidates have obtained full marks.

A total of 1,347,820 unique candidates registered for CUET UG 2024, with 1,113,610 actually appearing for the test. When considering candidates appearing for multiple papers, the total registrations reached 5,771,668, and the total number of candidates who appeared for the test was 4,621,670.

The first-ever hybrid CUET was conducted in May. For papers with a high number of candidates, the exam was taken on OMR sheets, while for subjects with fewer candidates, it was held as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). A re-examination was conducted on July 19.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) published the final answer keys for all subjects before announcing the results.
