H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji Inaugurates Two Books at Maha Satsang- Anandam in Delhi

New Delhi, 3rd March 2025: Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar unveiled rare relics of the original Somnath Jyotirlingam for the first time in Delhi on Sunday. The event, Maha Satsang – Anandam, saw the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Vijendra Gupta, and other dignitaries.

Expressing his appreciation, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar acknowledged the Chief Minister’s commitment to the Yamuna cleaning initiative, recalling that The Art of Living’s Meri Delhi, Meri Yamuna campaign had started as early as 2010. During the event, he also launched two significant books—Modi Ki Videsh Neeti and Mahila Sashaktikaran (Women Empowerment)—authored by Kr. Rajiv Ranjan Singh, President of ICPRD.

Recalling Gurudev’s leadership in environmental conservation, Rekha Gupta Honourable Chief Minister Of Delhi said, “I still remember, Gurudev, how thousands of Art of Living volunteers, under your guidance, undertook the massive task of cleaning the Yamuna ghats, removing thousands of truckloads of waste. Now, we will take this mission forward, transform the riverfront, and organize a grand Maha Aarti in your presence. I will personally come to invite you.”

Kr. Rajiv Ranjan Singh, President of ICPRD, said “I salute Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji for empowering women through leadership and self-reliance. His vision is reflected in Rekha Gupta Ji leading Delhi and the transformative initiatives benefiting women across India. My books ‘Mahila Sashaktikaran’ and ‘Modi Ki Videsh Neeti’ highlight his impactful policies. In my book “Mahila Sashaktikaran”, I highlight Modi Ji’s schemes and their impact on women’s empowerment. My second book, “Modi Ki Videsh Neeti”, explores India’s growth and global recognition under his leadership. I sincerely thank Shri Narendra Kumar Verma Ji of Diamond Books for publishing these books.

The two books offer a well-researched and analytical view of India’s evolving foreign policy landscape and the empowerment of women as a core pillar of India’s development agenda, making them essential reading for policymakers, researchers, and citizens alike. The book ‘Mahila Sashaktikaran’ is edited by Mr. Amit Kumar, Sr. Journalist Rashtriya Sahara.
The event witnessed participation from distinguished guests, policymakers, intellectuals, media, and young scholars — making it a fitting tribute to India’s progress story under the current leadership.

ICPRD remains committed to fostering informed discourse and policy advocacy through quality research and publications.
