Bollywood: Kirti Kulhari to make international debut with “Sach is Life”.

Delhi: A slice-of-life movie called Sach is Life will be actress Kirti Kulhari’s first major worldwide feature. The Indian immigrant Munshi family from the US is the subject of the true narrative on which the film is based. Harsh Mahadeshwar, who has previously contributed to numerous music videos, wrote the script and directed the film.

Written and directed by Mahadeshwar, who is a music video veteran, “Sach is Life” is based on the real life story of the Munshi family. It will tell the tale of a devoted couple who are determined to provide their three-year-old son, diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the life that he rightfully deserves, regardless of his condition.

Kulhari is known for Prime Video’s “Four More Shots Please” and Disney+ Hotstar’s “Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors,” while Sarbh recently scored an International Emmy best actor nomination for SonyLIV’s “Rocket Boys.”

Kulhari said that the film would unleash the “power of unconditional love, celebrate human spirit and to always hold on to that little thing called hope.” She added: “The makers are from the U.S., but it’s an Indian story. I’m extremely excited to collaborate with a crew from the U.S. and to work in an environment outside of India. I’ll do my best to make it a film that we all are going to be proud of.”

Sarbh described the film as an “extremely heartwarming and inspirational story of resilience, dedication, and belief. Nothing moves me quite like a story of a family coming together to help one of their own achieve their dreams.”
