Janhvi Kapoor and Music Team Unveil ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ Album on Spotify

New Delhi: The much-anticipated film ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’ celebrated the launch of its music album with a star-studded event in Mumbai. The event, hosted by Spotify and Sony Music India, featured the film’s leading lady, Janhvi Kapoor, director Sharan Sharma, and a stellar lineup of musicians, including Tanishk Bagchi, Vishal Mishra, Jubin Nautiyal, JAANI, Neeti Mohan, and more.

The exclusive gathering offered an intimate setting where the artists performed live and shared behind-the-scenes stories of the album’s creation. This musical afternoon highlighted the diversity and richness of the album, which promises to be a quintessential Bollywood soundtrack.

Janhvi Kapoor expressed her excitement: “I am super thrilled for the album to come out finally. It holds a special place for me, as each song is incredibly soothing and melodious. With the overwhelming response to ‘Dekha Tenu’ and ‘Agar Ho Tum’, I am positive the entire album will get the same love.”

Director Sharan Sharma added, “Every song in the film holds great relevance and truly complements the storyline. There’s a song for every emotion, from happiness to heartbreak to victory.”

The album features seven tracks, each bringing a unique flavour to the table:

1. ‘Dekha Tenu’ – A romantic song celebrating love at first sight, composed by Aadesh Shrivastava and JAANI, sung by Mohammad Faiz, and written by Sameer Anjaan & JAANI.
   
2. ‘Agar Ho Tum’ – A romantic ode celebrating the presence of someone special, composed by Tanishk Bagchi, sung by Jubin Nautiyal, and penned by Kausar Munir.
   
3. ‘Roya Jab Tu’ – A melancholic love song about the pain of separation, composed and sung by Vishal Mishra, with lyrics by Vishal Mishra and Azeem Dayani.
   
4. ‘Tu Hain Toh’ – A love ballad expressing the sentiment of having everything with that special someone, composed by Hunny & Bunny, sung by Bunny and Sagar, with lyrics by Sagar.
   
5. ‘Junoon Hain’ – A sports anthem composed by Achint and Yuva, sung by Achint, and written by Arushi Kaushal.
   
6. ‘Ranjhana’ – A soulful Punjabi love song composed by Dhrruv Dhalla, sung by Kavita Seth and Laqshay Kapoor, and written by Devendra Kafir.
   
7. ‘Tu Hain Toh’ (Female Version) – Composed by Hunny & Bunny, sung by Neeti Mohan, and written by Sagar.

Vishal Mishra highlighted the emotional depth of his song, “Roya Jab Tu”, noting it as a personal and moving piece that will resonate with many. Kavita Seth and Laqshay Kapoor spoke about “Ranjhana” as a track that deeply touches the heart with its beautiful lyrics.

The album is now available on Spotify, inviting fans to dive into its rich musical landscape. ‘Mr. & Mrs. Mahi’, directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Zee Studios and Dharma Productions, is set to hit theatres on 31st May 2024.
