Sanjay Dutt Speaks Out After UK Visa Rejection and ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ Exit
New Delhi: Actor Sanjay Dutt recently spoke out about being dropped from the upcoming film Son of Sardaar 2 following the rejection of his UK visa. Initially granted the visa, Sanjay was later informed of its cancellation, a move he described as “wrong.” According to recent sources, the actor expressed his frustration with the UK government’s decision, questioning the delay between the initial approval and subsequent rejection.
“I know one thing, that the UK government did not do the right thing. They gave me the visa initially, all payments were made, and everything was ready in the UK. Then, a month later, they canceled my visa. I provided all the necessary documents, so why did they issue the visa in the first place? How come it took them a month to realize the laws?” Sanjay said, emphasizing the confusion and inconvenience caused by the situation.
Despite his disappointment, Sanjay downplayed the impact of not being able to visit the UK, citing the current unrest in the country. “Anyway, who is going to the UK? There are so many riots happening there. Even the Indian government has advised against visiting the UK. I am not missing out on anything, but yes, they have done wrong. They need to rectify this. I am a law-abiding citizen, and I respect every country’s law,” he added.
Sanjay was replaced by actor Ravi Kishan in Son of Sardaar 2. When asked if he might still make a special appearance in the film, Sanjay stated that he was unsure about that possibility.
