YouTuber MrBeast Spends 7 Days Being Buried Alive, Calls It “Mental Agony”
Delhi: YouTuber MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, recently embarked on a seven-day buried alive stunt, reminiscent of his previous 50-hour attempt in 2021. The social media sensation, with 212 million subscribers, spent the week underground in a transparent coffin, equipped with essentials like food and water. Despite the entertainment value, the experience took a toll on MrBeast, causing what he described as “mental agony.” He emphasized the risks and urged his followers not to attempt such feats at home. The elaborate stunt, similar to Uma Thurman’s character in ‘Kill Bill,’ featured state-of-the-art technology, including cameras to document the experience. The YouTuber, accompanied by his friends, utilized an excavator to cover the coffin with 20,000 pounds of mud, ensuring it was fully submerged below the surface. MrBeast expressed in the video, “I’m entrusting my life to this coffin for the next seven days,” while using a walkie-talkie to communicate with his team on the surface.
Despite taking numerous safety measures, the daring seven-day burial proved to be incredibly draining for the entertainer. Despite the voluntary nature of the stunt, MrBeast broke down in tears multiple times, including when he was being extracted from the casket. There was also concern about potential blood clots in his legs after spending an extended period in a confined space, which could hinder his ability to stand. Fortunately, he emerged from the brief internment without any injuries.
The video was shared two days ago on YouTube. It has since gone crazy viral with 64 million views and over two million likes. Many even flocked to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts.
It’s worth noting that MrBeast had previously attempted a similar feat, enduring being buried alive for 50 hours in 2021.
Despite being active on YouTube since 2012, MrBeast just became well-known in 2018 after giving thousands of cash to obscure Twitch streamers and YouTubers.
