Aatmanirbhar Bharat Utsav: Celebrating India’s Handloom and Handicraft Heritage
Trivandrum: The Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is proud to announce the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Utsav, an exhibition dedicated to promoting India’s rich handloom and handicraft sector. This event will take place from October 8th to October 15th, 2024, at the RDR Convention Centre, located opposite the petrol pump on Kochar Road, Edappazhinji, Thycaud PO, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The exhibition will be open to the public daily from 11 AM to 8 PM.

Showcasing Self-Reliance
The Aatmanirbhar Bharat Utsav is not just an exhibition; it is a celebration of self-reliance in India. The event aims to provide holistic support to traditional artisans and craftspeople across the country. These participants include weavers and artisans specializing in handloom, handicraft, silk, jute, and woollen products, showcasing the collective strength of India’s craftsmanship.
