Ampere’s ‘The Nex Big Thing’ Electrifies New Delhi on Historic Kashmir to Kanyakumari Journey

New Delhi: Ampere’s much-anticipated electric scooter, ‘The Nex Big Thing,’ from Greaves Electric Mobility, has successfully covered over 1100 kilometers on its historic journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, with New Delhi as a triumphant stop. The next key destination is Rajasthan.

Featuring one of the most lightweight operating systems and a vibrant touchscreen, this state-of-the-art scooter promises a seamless riding experience with enhanced navigation and connectivity features. Taking inspiration from the Arctic Tern, a bird known for its global circumnavigation, including a flight over Kanyakumari, the scooter incorporates Indian design elements to create a distinctive fusion of modern aesthetics and cultural heritage.  Beyond showcasing technological excellence, the scooter’s historic journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari becomes a celebration of India’s diversity, embracing its various cultures, landscapes, and culinary traditions in a harmonious interplay.

Starting from Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir, on January 16, 2024, this remarkable 5,100+ kilometer expedition showcases not only determination and resilience but also highlights the scooter’s power, performance, and style. Over 45 days, it will cover the entire country, encountering diverse terrains and making stops in notable towns and cities, poised to redefine electric mobility in India.
