Delhi: Dr. Jitendra Singh, who holds multiple ministerial positions including Science & Technology, MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy, and Space, announced that Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya missions will serve as key drivers of India’s transformative journey, known as the “Amrit Kaal growth,” for the next 25 years. He made this statement while launching the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign in Tikri-1B Panchayat, Udhampur district, which marks the commencement of Amrit Kalash Yatras across the nation. These yatras involve the collection of soil and rice from every household, symbolizing people’s active participation in the nation’s prosperity.

During the inauguration event, Dr. Jitendra Singh remarked that India’s recent achievements in space exploration have been made possible thanks to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership. The adoption of a public-private partnership model has opened up new opportunities for India’s space sector, and the once figurative saying that “the sky is not the limit” has now become a reality for India’s space endeavors. Over the past nine years, India’s space journey has seen significant progress, elevating the country to a level where it stands shoulder-to-shoulder with renowned space agencies like NASA and Roscosmos, leading to collaborations with ISRO in various space missions.

Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized that India’s prominent display of its skilled human resources and capabilities, achieved through cost-effective methods despite limited resources, has positioned the country as a leading nation and a significant scientific and economic power on the global stage. Dr. Jitendra Singh also noted that the global recognition for these achievements goes to PM Modi, who has made a series of forward-thinking policy choices, including the collaboration of all relevant parties to collectively contribute to these endeavors. During the event, Dr. Jitendra Singh encouraged people to engage in the Amrit Kalash Yatras, take the ‘Panch Pran’ pledge, and dedicate themselves to India’s growth and advancement, with the goal of witnessing India’s pinnacle in the year 2047.
