Delegation Meets with Delhi Police Commissioner Sh. Sanjay Arora IPS
New Delhi: A delegation was invited by Sh. Sanjay Arora IPS, Delhi Police commissioner, to discuss a proposal for joint collaboration on the “Stay Alert- Stay Secure” project. This initiative aims to enhance citizen security through a robust National Citizens Security Culture. The delegation, comprising Sh. Mahesh Sharma, Gen Ashok Shivane, Sh. Anil Pratham IPS (Retd), Capt Tiger Collaco, and Ms. Lydia, presented the project details.
Sh. Sanjay Arora commended the initiative and expressed his support for developing a comprehensive security culture across the nation. He announced plans to form a dedicated team to discuss the mechanism for effective implementation and monitoring of the proposed scheme. This collaboration is expected to set a precedent for similar efforts nationwide.
In addition to the meeting with the Delhi Police, the project has garnered attention from DGPs of six other states, who have extended invitations to discuss the initiative further. This widespread interest highlights the project’s potential to significantly impact citizen security across various regions.
The collaboration between PSI and state police departments is anticipated to be mutually beneficial, fostering meaningful relationships and enhancing the overall security framework.
