New Delhi: In a major breakthrough in cyber crime enforcement, Delhi Police has arrested a 28-year-old man from East Delhi for running a disturbing online harassment campaign. The arrest follows a complaint lodged by a woman on November 30 last year, detailing a flood of explicit messages and unsolicited demands for intimate images through WhatsApp.

The accused, who was operating undercover from Croatia, is now being accused of sexual harassment, stalking and using abusive language towards women. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Rohit Meena revealed that a thorough investigation revealed the global scope of the activities of the digital hunters.
