Faridabad– In a collaborative effort to promote the noble cause of organ and body donation, Amrita Hospital, in association with Rotary Club District 3011, organized an Organ & Body Donation Awareness Event at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. The event, themed ‘Celebrating the Gift of Life,’ educated and inspired individuals to pledge their organs, reinforcing the power of saving lives even beyond one’s lifetime.

With the growing demand for organ transplants and the increasing gap between availability and need, this awareness initiative aimed to bridge misconceptions, provide accurate information, and encourage more people to become organ donors. The event attracted healthcare professionals, policy advocates, social organizations, and members of the general public who wished to contribute to this lifesaving mission.

The initiative was backed by eminent dignitaries from the medical and social service communities, including key representatives from Rotary International and Amrita Hospital. With participation from multiple Rotary Clubs across the region, the event served as a platform for experts, donors, and recipients to share their insights and personal experiences. Additionally, interactive sessions focused on the medical, ethical, and legal aspects of organ donation.
