Signify Sets a New Benchmark with Asia’s Largest Illuminated Modak
New Delhi: Celebrating Maharashtra’s vibrant Ganesh Chaturthi, Signify, the global leader in lighting, has unveiled the largest illuminated Modak installation, now recognized by both the Asia and India Book of Records. Standing 16 feet tall with a glowing 4-foot base, this breathtaking installation, powered by Philips lights, is located at the intersection of the Chintamani Ganpati Mandal and Lal Bagh Cha Raja in Mumbai. The installation will be on display for 11 days, starting from September 7, 2024.
This initiative aligns with Signify’s vision of creating a #BrighterLifeBetterWorld by blending modern technology with cultural heritage. The illuminated Modak symbolizes prosperity and devotion, making it a perfect tribute to the festival. A dedicated team of over 70 individuals worked tirelessly for 10 days to bring this impressive creation to life, showcasing Signify’s innovative approach to merging technology and tradition.
