“Third death claimed in Kerala blast tragedy: Investigation reveals new details”

In a heart-breaking update, the death toll in the recent Kerala blasts has risen to three with the tragic death of 12-year-old Libina from Malayattoor. The devastating incident unfolded during a meeting of Jehovah’s Witnesses at a private conference center in Kalamassery.
Libina, who showed incredible courage while battling severe burns covering 95% of her body, tragically succumbed to her injuries on Monday morning. The blast, which occurred during a morning meeting, initially killed two people, with Libina becoming the third victim.
Following the explosion, a man named Dominic Martin claimed responsibility for the attack and revealed his affiliation with the religious group while expressing dissatisfaction with some of the teachings.
Initial investigation indicated the use of an improvised explosive device (IED) with a timer-based trigger, although shrapnel was apparently absent. The IED was strategically placed near an oil container to fuel the fire, raising concerns of possible terror connections.
Political leaders from different parties have come together to condemn the blast, prompting the Kerala government to assemble a special 20-member investigation team. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan condemned the incident as a horrific tragedy and stressed that such incidents have no place in a democracy committed to the rule of law.
This developing story continues to unravel, with investigators working diligently to determine the true culprits and motives behind this tragic and shocking incident.
