Free Registration and Rs. 12 Lakh Prize at Stake in HCL Jigsaw’s Fifth Edition

Lucknow: HCL, a global conglomerate with a revenue of US $13.1 billion, has announced the opening of registrations for the fifth edition of HCL Jigsaw – India’s premier problem-solving assessment platform.

This nationwide initiative aims to nurture a community of India’s top young problem solvers by acknowledging and rewarding their critical thinking skills through a rigorous evaluation process. This year, HCL Jigsaw welcomes all school students from Grades 6 to 9 to participate in the competition free of charge. Interested students and schools can secure their spot by registering at www.hcljigsaw.com before July 31, 2024. The total prize purse for the fifth edition is Rs 12 Lakhs. Additionally, schools with over 150 participants will be recognized as India’s leading problem-solving institutions.

HCL Jigsaw evaluates students on problem-solving attributes: research skills, critical thinking, and communication proficiency for effective problem-solving.

HCL Jigsaw Competition Structure:

  • Round 1 (Qualifiers):
  • MCQ test on 15th-16th June and 2nd-4th August 2024.
  • Includes video content and live sessions for skill enhancement.
  • Assessment reports distributed on August 11, 2024.
  • Top 20% per grade advance to semi-finals.
  • Round 2 (Semi-finals):
  • Project-based collaboration from August 24-25, 2024.
  • Teams of three work on real-world case problems.
  • Top 5 teams per grade advance to the finale.
  • Round 3 (Finale):
  • Jury presentations on September 7-8, 2024.
  • Teams present solutions to real-world case scenarios.
  • Winners announced as “India’s Top Young Problem Solvers” on September 9, 2024.

Over 60,000 students from 3000+ schools joined HCL Jigsaw. Winners explored HCL’s Innovation Labs for hands-on tech experiences and career insights.
