GUVI’s HyreNet Equips Over 10,000 AKTU Students with In-Demand Skills Evaluation

Lucknow: GUVI, an EdTech company under the HCL group, has partnered with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) to introduce the University Benchmark Test, a cutting-edge assessment tool powered by GUVI’s HyreNet platform. This AI-driven tool aims to evaluate the proficiency of students in crucial areas such as coding fundamentals, career skills, data science, problem-solving, and more. Its primary focus is to support students in tier-2 and tier-3 cities of Uttar Pradesh, addressing their skill gaps and enhancing their employability prospects.

Since December 2023, over 100 out of the 700 AKTU-affiliated colleges have gained access to HyreNet. This milestone has opened doors for more than 10,000 students to benefit from the program, showcasing the platform’s effectiveness in reaching and empowering students from underserved regions.

The University Benchmark Test, powered by HyreNet, offers students a comprehensive assessment experience encompassing 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and two programming challenges. By participating in this test, students can exhibit their skills across diverse domains while gaining valuable insights into their strengths and areas for improvement.

One notable feature of this test is its ability to generate detailed reports for each candidate, providing them with a holistic view of their performance in various skill categories. Additionally, the platform ensures a fair and transparent assessment process by facilitating the verification and evaluation of students.

The incorporation of a leaderboard system adds an element of healthy competition among the students, encouraging continuous improvement. Furthermore, the availability of college-level reports enhances the utility of the assessment data for academic institutions.

During an event at AKTU University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Ms. Anitha N, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of GUVI Geek Network Pvt Ltd, motivated thousands of students to prepare for the University Benchmark Test on the ‘HyreNet’ platform. She emphasized the significance of leveraging their skills and knowledge to excel in the ever-evolving job market.

“This assessment program through HyreNet reaffirms our dedication to empowering students in tier-2 and tier-3 cities with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market,” said Mr Arun Prakash M, Founder & CEO of GUVI. “By harnessing technology for skill assessment and development, we aim to equip AKTU students with industry-valued competencies, thereby enhancing their employability and career prospects.”

GUVI’s HyreNet platform serves as a significant stride in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry demands. It provides students with a clear pathway to success in the ever-evolving digital landscape, enabling them to thrive and meet the demands of the modern workforce.
