New Delhi: The Jeep Wrangler facelift is all set to be launched in India on April 22, 2024. Jeep Wrangler facelift: exterior changes
In the Wrangler facelift, notable updates include an all-black grille featuring a slimmer interpretation of the iconic seven-slat design compared to its predecessor. Globally, the Wrangler offers a diverse selection of 10 alloy wheel designs ranging from 17 to 20 inches, with tire sizes accommodating up to 35 inches. Moreover, the model boasts a variety of roof options to cater to diverse preferences: standard soft top, body-colored hard top, black hard top, combination hard and soft top, Sunrider top for front passengers, and a dual-door group with half doors.
Jeep Wrangler facelift interior and features
The focal point of the updated Wrangler is the introduction of a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, standard across all variants. Running on Jeep’s Uconnect 5 system, this advanced interface offers connected features, notably including the Trails Offroad guide, featuring 62 renowned off-road trails.
In the interior, the repositioned AC vents now sit beneath the prominent infotainment screen, while the overall cabin layout retains its familiar configuration. Enhancements include 12-way power-adjustable front seats, seamless integration of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the addition of a new semi-digital instrument cluster.
Jeep Wrangler facelift powertrain
The India-spec pre-facelift Jeep Wrangler offers a robust powertrain comprising a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine delivering 270hp and 400Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission and Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system as standard. It is anticipated that the Wrangler facelift will continue to feature this proven powertrain configuration as the sole option in the Indian market.
