Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition priced from Rs 24.24 lakh

New Delhi: Mahindra is set to introduce the highly anticipated ‘Blaze Edition’ of its XUV700 SUV, offering a limited production run of just 2,500 units. This special edition model boasts a unique matte red paint option, accompanied by distinct blacked-out elements, lending it an unparalleled aesthetic appeal. According to credible dealer sources, the XUV700 Blaze Edition will be available at a starting price of Rs 24.24 lakh (ex-showroom, India), with an official launch imminent. Notably, the Blaze Edition commands a slight premium of Rs 25,000 over the equivalent AX7 L trim, upon which it is based.

Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition: what’s new?

The forthcoming XUV700 Blaze Edition promises to make a distinctive statement on Indian roads with its unprecedented matte red paint finish, setting it apart from conventional SUV designs. Complementing this bold exterior hue is a striking blacked-out treatment applied to the roof, wing mirrors, grille, alloy wheels, and A-, B-, and C-pillars, further enhancing its unique aesthetic appeal. Notably, the Blaze Edition is adorned with special badges on the tailgate and front fenders, emphasizing its exclusive status.

Inside the cabin, the XUV700 Blaze Edition features an elegant all-black interior, accentuated by contrasting red stitching on the upholstery and red accents adorning the AC vents and center console. Based on the top-spec AX7 L trim, this edition boasts a fully-loaded configuration, offering an extensive array of premium features and amenities synonymous with the XUV700 range.

Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition: powertrain options

The Blaze Edition is being offered with three powertrain options, and only in seven-seat guise for now. In petrol form, the XUV700 Blaze Edition only gets the automatic gearbox option, while the diesel gets both, manual and the automatic options. The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 200hp and 380Nm, while the 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine makes 185hp and 420Nm (450Nm with the AT). The Blaze Edition is not available on the diesel AWD variants.

In the midsize SUV segment, the Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq are some models that offer a matte paint finish.
