Marengo CIMS Hospital Introduces Biosensors for Enhanced Smart Healthcare
Ahmedabad: Marengo CIMS Hospital becomes the 1st hospital in Gujarat toset new benchmarks for enhanced patient care across all its beds. This comes in the line of several ‘Firsts’ Marengo CIMS is reputed for. The hospital is reputed for performing the first heart transplant in the state of Gujarat and remains the healthcare provider to have performed the highest number of heart transplants in the West India region; the first lung transplant in the state of Gujarat; the first hospital to be thrice JCI accredited, and several such milestones.
Equipped with FDA-approved wearable devices for every patient under its care. This advanced patient-friendly technology allows for round-the-clock monitoring of vital signs and ECG readings. A dedicated team of expert doctors, leverages this device to continuously capture and analyze the patient’s vitals, offering real-time insights to proactively manage patients even before they reach a critical stage. The device also facilitates uninterrupted communication between the treating doctor and the patient, enhancing the level of care provided. Specifically designed to detect early warning scores and issue alerts for potential arrhythmia, tachycardia and ventricular bigeminy, this technology has the potential to be a lifesaver for patients.
Doctors and paramedics have access to vital insights on their mobile devices, portable gadgets and laptops. With wearable patches in place, patients enjoy freedom of movement without any restrictions. In patients requiring continuous vital sign monitoring, wearable biosensors can monitor significant signs like heart rate, ECG, blood pressure, glucose levels monitoring and oxygen saturation. Biosensors can also detect specific biomarkers associated with various diseases. Marengo CIMS Hospital is also enabling all-time monitoring of the patients at home, post discharge which in turn enables early recovery and peace of mind for the patient.
