New Delhi: In a shocking incident in Mumbai, Mihir Shah (24) allegedly hit and fatally dragged Kaveri Nakhwa (45) for 1.5 kilometers, injuring her husband Pradeep. The incident occurred in the Worli area, where the couple was on their two-wheeler. The police investigation has revealed disturbing details through CCTV footage.

On the fateful Sunday morning, Mihir Shah, driving a BMW, knocked down Kaveri and Pradeep. Instead of stopping, he continued driving, dragging Kaveri along. The footage shows Shah and his accomplice, Rajrishi Bidawat, stopping just before the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL), removing Kaveri from the bonnet, and then reversing over her. After this heinous act, they fled towards Kala Nagar, where their vehicle stalled.

Rajesh Shah, Mihir’s father, arrived at the scene in a Mercedes to help his son escape. Despite his efforts, the police, alerted by Pradeep and an eyewitness, apprehended Rajesh and Bidawat. However, Mihir Shah remains absconding. The Mumbai Police have formed 11 teams and enlisted the Crime Branch to locate him. A Look Out Circular (LOC) has also been issued.

This incident has sparked public outrage and highlighted the need for stricter enforcement of traffic laws and swift justice for victims of reckless driving. Authorities are under pressure to apprehend Mihir Shah and ensure that justice is served for Kaveri Nakhwa and her family.
