Parsvnath Landmark CEO Arrested After Dramatic 60-Km Car Chase

New Delhi: Sanjeev Jain, the director and CEO of Parsvnath Landmark Developers, a subsidiary of the real estate firm Parsvnath Developers, was arrested following a dramatic 60-kilometer chase, as confirmed by Delhi police. Jain, a resident of DLF Phase-2 in Gurugram, was apprehended by the Delhi Police Special Task Force (Shahdara team at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Surendra Choudhary stated that Jain was taken into custody on Saturday due to multiple non-bailable warrants issued against him. These warrants were a consequence of his failure to appear before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC). The case prompting the warrants was filed by an individual named Rajat Babbar.

Jain faced four non-bailable warrants and one bailable warrant from the NCDRC, all pending at the Shahdara police station. The pursuit and subsequent arrest underscore the seriousness of the charges and the authorities’ commitment to enforcing legal accountability. Following his arrest, Jain was produced before the commission on Sunday.

This arrest marks a significant development in the ongoing legal proceedings involving Jain and serves as a reminder of the importance of compliance with legal obligations, especially in high-profile cases involving significant financial and consumer interests.
