Promoting Safety and Unity: Nurturing India’s National Citizen Security Culture
New Delhi: The Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) is organizing a roundtable conference on March 15th in Delhi to discuss the advancement of the Evolving National Citizen Security Culture campaign. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has expressed support for the concept and confirmed their assistance. This campaign aims to foster a comprehensive national security culture, serving as a significant milestone in India’s efforts to protect its citizens and strengthen the fabric of society. By adopting a multi-faceted approach that includes methodologies, processes, public awareness events, government engagement, and active participation from universities and civil society organizations, the campaign aims to enhance citizens’ knowledge, skills, and awareness regarding their own safety and their contribution to national security.
Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) is showing its support for the event, with a high-level delegation set to participate. The round table, convened by Kunwar Vikram Singh, Chairman of the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI), will have the privilege of hosting distinguished individuals from diverse sectors as keynote speakers. Among the esteemed lineup are Kunwar Vikram Singh, Chairman of CAPSI; Mahesh C Sharma, Secretary General of CAPSI; Maj Gen Raju Chauhan; Sh.
