Upcoming Delhi Expo showcasing Bharat Mobility from Feb 1-3: All you need to know!
New Delhi: The upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 is set to take place at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi from February 1 to 3. This mega exhibition, jointly organized by multiple industry bodies and the Government of India, will focus on electric mobility and showcase the entire spectrum of the mobility ecosystem. Unlike the biannual India Auto Expo, this three-day event will go beyond traditional automobiles and encompass electric vehicles, powertrain technologies, electrical and electronics subsystems, eco-friendly tires, battery technology, connected technologies, and alternative fuel technologies.
The event is being organised under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce. “Covering a sprawling 10 lakh square feet, this extensive mobility exposition will feature stakeholders across the automobile and mobility sector, showcasing their strengths and innovations. The expo will highlight areas like next-gen eco-friendly products, construction equipment, and various innovative mobility solutions,” the commerce ministry said.
Partner organizations for this event include prominent industry bodies such as the Society of Automobile Manufacturers Association, Automotive Component Manufacturers Association, Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association, Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles, and NASSCOM. Together, these organizations will contribute to making the event a comprehensive representation of the mobility industry.
Distinguished from regular auto events, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo is forward-looking and incorporates emerging technologies. It aims to position India as a key player in the future mobility space through the inclusion of drones alongside traditional automobiles. The India Energy Storage Alliance, which is organizing the expo, has extended invitations to electric vehicle infrastructure players, including charging and swapping companies, to exhibit their cutting-edge products.
The event will not only be a platform for showcasing innovations but will also feature knowledge sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities. Participants can expect sessions covering important topics such as electrification, circular economy, battery safety, and EV infrastructure. These sessions will facilitate interactions among various stakeholders, including business-to-business, government-to-government, and business-to-consumer engagements.
As a subset of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the ACMA-Automechanika 2024 show will specifically showcase auto component manufacturers from India and more than 12 countries. This exhibition within the larger event will provide a focused platform for these manufacturers to present their offerings to a targeted audience.
