Updated Bajaj Pulsar 220F launched at Rs 1.40 lakh
New Delhi: The Bajaj Pulsar 220F was briefly discontinued and replaced by the all-new Pulsar 250F. However, the cult following and demand for the Pulsar 220F was so great that Bajaj was compelled to reintroduce the motorcycle earlier last year. Bajaj updated the rest of its motorcycles in the meantime and now an updated Pulsar 220F has been spotted at a dealership before its official launch.

The updated Bajaj Pulsar 220F boasts several notable enhancements, including new graphics that prominently feature the ‘220’ moniker, akin to the recent updates seen on the Pulsar N250. The most significant change lies in the replacement of the previous part digi-analog display with a modern LCD screen, akin to the setup found on the Pulsar N160, and supports Bluetooth connectivity.
This LCD screen not only provides turn-by-turn navigation but also introduces a new set of switchgear to facilitate easy navigation through its features. Additionally, Bajaj has incorporated a convenient USB charging socket adjacent to the screen, facilitating device mounting and charging. These enhancements result in a price increase of approximately Rs 2,500.
Mechanically, the Pulsar 220F remains unchanged, retaining its reliable 220cc air/oil-cooled engine delivering 20.4hp and 18.5Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Since its debut in 2009, the 220F has maintained its status as one of Bajaj’s highest-selling Pulsar models, consistently delivering performance and reliability to riders.
