Xiaomi’s SU7 EV Emerges at ₹24.90 Lakh, Taking on Tesla and BYD: Discover Its Range and Features!
New Delhi: Xiaomi, the prominent Chinese tech company, has officially entered the electric vehicle (EV) arena by launching its inaugural electric car, the SU7. During an event held today, Xiaomi unveiled the SU7, positioning it to compete directly against established players such as Tesla and BYD.
The SU7, aptly named ‘Speed Ultra,’ is available in four different versions: a base model, a Pro edition, a Max variant, and a special Founders Edition. Featuring a sleek four-door sedan design, the SU7 boasts dimensions of 4,997 mm in length, 1,963 mm in width, and up to 1,455 mm in height, complemented by a wheelbase of 3,000 mm and standard 19-inch Michelin alloy wheels across all variants.
Xiaomi highlighted the impressive performance metrics of the SU7 during the launch event. The Max variant, in particular, stands out with a top speed of 265 kmph, accelerating from 0-100 kmph in just 2.78 seconds and offering an impressive range of up to 810 kms on a single charge. Meanwhile, the exclusive Founders Edition, equipped with a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive system, delivers nearly 986 bhp of power and achieves a lightning-fast 0-100 kmph sprint in just 1.98 seconds.
With its innovative 486V and 871V architectures, the SU7 supports ultra-fast charging, enabling owners to replenish enough power to cover 350 kms and 510 kms, respectively, in just 15 minutes, catering to the evolving needs of electric vehicle users.
