Lamborghini Achieves Record-Breaking Year with Over 10,000 Cars Sold in 2023

New Delhi: In a historic milestone, luxury sports car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini revved its engines to new heights in 2023 by selling over 10,000 cars in a single calendar year for the first time ever. The iconic Italian brand celebrated its 60th anniversary, marking the occasion with remarkable success.

Lamborghini’s 2023 triumph was fueled by a 10% year-on-year growth, reaching a total of 10,112 units sold. The largest share of this achievement came from the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, accounting for 3,987 units. The Americas followed closely with 3,465 units, and the Asia–Pacific (APAC) region contributed 2,660 units.

1. Top Markets: The United States claimed the top spot with 3,000 cars delivered, with Germany, China, the United Kingdom, and Japan rounding out the top five markets.

2. Model Breakdown:  The Urus SUV led the pack with 6,087 units sold, trailed by the Huracan at 3,962 units. Additionally, 63 V12-powered vehicles, including the final 12 Aventadors and 51 few-offs, added to the model diversity.

3. Innovations: Lamborghini introduced the groundbreaking Revuelto, its first V12 high-performance electrified vehicle (HPEV) hybrid super sports car in 2023. Orders for this innovation have already been placed, with production extending into late 2026.

4. Concept and Racing: The company unveiled the Lamborghini Lanzador concept car and the Lamborghini SC63, a racing car set to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship in 2024.
