New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra, the leading Indian SUV manufacturer, has revealed that the Mahindra XUV300 facelift will be rebranded as the Mahindra XUV 3XO. This revamped model is scheduled for unveiling on April 29. Positioned in the fiercely competitive sub-4 metre compact SUV segment, it will challenge popular contenders such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet.
Expect notable upgrades both inside and out. The exterior will feature a fresh look with redesigned elements including the grille, LED headlamps, fog lamps, and bumper. Enhanced connectivity will be showcased through new LED taillamps with the XUV 3XO badging.
Inside, a modernized cabin is anticipated, boasting an integrated touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument panel, dual-zone automatic climate control, multifunction steering wheel, front ventilated seats, and electric sunroof. Safety remains paramount, continuing the legacy of its predecessor with features like all four disc brakes, six airbags, 360-degree camera, and electronic stability control.
Engine options are expected to remain consistent with the current XUV300, offering a choice between a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol, 1.2-litre mStallion turbocharged petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel, with transmission options including 6-speed manual and AMT.
Pricing is likely to be slightly elevated compared to the XUV300, ranging between Rs 8.50 lakh to Rs 15.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Stay tuned for the unveiling event to discover more about this eagerly anticipated SUV.
