Kohler Hosts 13th Edition of Pecha Kucha, Spotlighting ‘Designing for the Future’ with Leading Architects in Kolkata

Kolkata, May, 2025 – Kohler India proudly hosted the 13th edition of its signature Pecha Kucha event on May 19th, 2025, at the iconic Hard Rock Café in Kolkata. With the theme “Designing for the Future,” the event brought together a powerhouse line-up of design visionaries to delve into how architecture and design can shape a resilient, inclusive, and forward-thinking built environment.
Pecha Kucha-renowned for its energetic 20×20 format (20 slides, 20 seconds each) continues to be a creative catalyst for the design community since its launch in 2013. This edition spotlighted the evolving landscape of architecture, where functionality, technology, and social responsibility converge to define the spaces of tomorrow.
The evening featured compelling presentations by some of the most respected names in the field like Devyani Jaiswal, Principal Architect, DJ Associates, Kamal Periwal, Director, Maheshwari & Associates, Monica Khosla Bhargava, Principal Architect, Kham Consultants, Manash Sinha Roy, Director, Practice Design Pvt Ltd, Amitabh Sarma, Principal Architect, Akar Foundation and Anurag Kumar, Principal Architect, TJ Design Studio. These speakers offered unique perspectives on future-ready design, from integrating sustainable technologies and smart urban planning to rethinking social spaces for evolving lifestyles.
