India’s Olympic Day 5 Schedule: Key Matches and Events

New Delhi: As the Olympic Games continue, India’s athletes are gearing up for another action-packed day. After securing two bronze medals in shooting, India is set to see prominent performances from stars in various sports including badminton, boxing, and archery.

Badminton Highlights:

  • PV Sindhu will compete in the women’s singles group stage against Estonia’s Kristin Kuuba at 12:50 PM IST. Sindhu, a two-time Olympic medallist, is a strong contender and will be looking to advance further in the tournament.
  • Lakshya Sen will face Indonesia’s Jonatan Christie in a crucial group stage match at 1:40 PM IST. This game is pivotal for Sen as he aims to progress to the knockout rounds.
