Google’s ‘Made by Google’ Event: Pixel 9 Series, Pixel Watch 3, Pixel Buds Pro 2, and Android 15 Unveiling Expected
New Delhi: On August 14, Google’s “Made by Google” event will unveil a host of new products beyond the much-anticipated Pixel 9 series. This year, the tech giant is set to introduce not only the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold but also a range of additional devices that are generating significant buzz.
Pixel Watch 3
One of the key highlights of the event will be the introduction of the Pixel Watch 3. As Google’s third-generation smartwatch, it is anticipated to build on the features of its predecessor while offering some notable upgrades. The Pixel Watch 3 will be powered by the Snapdragon Wear 5100 chipset, paired with a Cortex M33 co-processor. This combination is expected to ensure smooth performance, similar to the previous model. The smartwatch will come equipped with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage, offering ample space for apps and data. Users can look forward to an improved display, featuring a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits, which promises a more vibrant and fluid viewing experience. The Pixel Watch 3 will be available in two sizes—41mm and 45mm—with the smaller model priced at $349 and the larger one at $399.
Pixel Buds Pro 2
In addition to the new smartwatch, Google is expected to reveal the Pixel Buds Pro 2. Leaked images suggest that these next-generation earbuds will feature a subtle redesign, including a new wingtip designed to enhance the fit and comfort. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are likely to be available in four color options: Pink, Black, Green, and Greyish White. The charging case for the earbuds is anticipated to be larger than its predecessor, potentially offering increased battery life and longer usage between charges.
Android 15
The event will also serve as the launch platform for Android 15. This latest iteration of Google’s mobile operating system will be compatible with the Pixel 8 series, Pixel 7 series, Pixel 6 series, and A series models. Android 15 is expected to introduce several new features designed to enhance user experience. Key additions include Private Space, a feature that allows users to lock apps in the app tray using biometric security; a redesigned volume panel for improved control; adaptive vibration settings; and better battery life thanks to an improved Doze mode.
As the event approaches, tech enthusiasts and Google fans alike will be eagerly awaiting more details and official announcements.
