New Delhi: Honor is back in the Indian market after a brief hiatus, and it’s looking to regain its previous popularity. With the launch of the Honor 200 Pro and Honor 200 in July, Honor aims to make a strong statement. These phones are well-priced and packed with features, but are they worth your attention? Let’s dive in.

Design and Display

Both the phones stand out with their premium design. Inspired by Gaudi’s Casa Mila, the design features curves and flowing lines, particularly in the camera module. The 200 has a marble-like finish, while the Pro version offers a wave-like texture. Both phones feel premium, though the Pro is slightly heavier at 200 grams.

On the display front, the 200 sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, and the Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED Quad-curved Floating Display. Both screens offer up to 120Hz refresh rate, vibrant colors, and good brightness levels. The Pro’s display is especially fluid, making it a delight for video and gaming.

Performance

The 200 series is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the Pro version uses the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Both phones handle multitasking, gaming, and media consumption smoothly. The Pro version excels in demanding games like BGMI, offering a better overall experience. Both devices come with dual speakers that deliver loud and crisp audio, enhancing the media experience.

Camera

Both the models are equipped with advanced triple-camera systems co-engineered with Studio Harcourt. The Honor 200 performs well in good lighting, though it struggles slightly in low light. The Pro version shines with its impressive portrait mode, offering detailed and natural-looking photos. Both phones also support a multi-video feature, great for vlogging.

Battery Life

Both phones house a 5200mAh battery, providing up to 12-13 hours of usage on a single charge. However, neither phone includes a charger in the box, a trend seen in many premium phones. Despite this, the battery life is sufficient for all-day use.

Should You Buy?

The Honor 200 offers a solid mid-range option with a good display, decent performance, and a competent camera. However, if you’re looking for a more premium experience, the Honor 200 Pro is the better choice, especially with its superior camera system and fluid display. Both phones are well-built, feature-packed, and worth considering if you’re in the market for a new smartphone.

  • I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is required to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100 certain. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it
