HTech CEO Madhav Sheth Teases Launch of Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate in India
New Delhi: Honor recently expanded its Magic 6 series in China by introducing the new Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate. There are indications that these models will soon make their way to the Indian market. HTech CEO Madhav Sheth took to social media to gauge user preferences for the next release in India and suggested the possibility of launching the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition the Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR, or possibly both. Both smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and feature a 5,600mAh battery with support for 66W wireless charging.
Sheth revealed the arrival of the new Magic series phones in India, posting pictures of both the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate and the Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and asking users about their favorite picks for the Indian market. The post hints at the imminent launch of one or both of these handsets in the country.
The Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate were unveiled in China, featuring a design inspired by Porsche’s sports cars. The Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR comes at CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs. 1,15,200) for the sole 24GB RAM + 1TB storage variant, while the Magic 6 Ultimate starts at CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 80,600) for the 16GB RAM. RAM + 512GB storage variant.
Both devices run on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0 interface and sport a 6.80-inch full-HD+ LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. They are powered by the 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and feature a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 180-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and 100x digital zoom.
The Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate sport a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 3D depth sensor on the front. They are equipped with a 5,600mAh battery that supports 66W wireless charging and 80W wired charging.
