New Delhi: Huawei has unveiled its latest tablet, the MatePad SE 11, globally on Sunday, May 9. This new model brings several upgrades over its predecessor, the MatePad SE, which was launched in 2022. The MatePad SE 11 comes with a larger 11-inch full-HD+ display and a bigger 7,700mAh battery.
Key Features and Specifications
Display and Design:
The Huawei MatePad SE 11 features an 11-inch full-HD+ LCD screen with a pixel density of 207 ppi and a peak brightness of 400 nits. It offers 100 percent sRGB coverage and introduces a new eBook mode for avid readers. The tablet measures 252.3 x 163.8 x 6.9 mm and weighs 475 grams. It boasts a sleek metal unibody design and is available in two colors: Crystal Blue and Nebula Gray.
Performance and Battery:
While Huawei hasn’t officially disclosed the processor details, the MatePad SE 11 is reported to come with either a Kirin 710A or Snapdragon 680 chipset, depending on the region. It pairs with up to 8GB of RAM and offers up to 128GB of internal storage. The tablet runs on HarmonyOS 2.0 and is powered by a substantial 7,700mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging via USB Type-C.
Stylus and Features:
One of the standout features of the MatePad SE 11 is its M-Pen lite stylus support. The stylus, combined with the Huawei Notes app, facilitates multi-screen collaboration and multi-window functionality. The tablet also includes a Kids Corner with child-friendly features like a blue-light filter, poster alerts, and eBook mode, making it suitable for young users.
Camera and Audio:
The MatePad SE 11 is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera capable of recording 1080p videos and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Additionally, it features a quad-speaker setup, ensuring a rich audio experience.

Availability and Pricing
There is no official word yet on the pricing of the Huawei MatePad SE 11. For reference, the previous model, MatePad SE, was priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 17,300) for the Wi-Fi only version with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage when it was launched in China in 2022.
